Jamie has been involved within the landscape industry for over 25 years, starting his career as an apprentice with the Vancouver Parks Board. In that time, he had some wonderful opportunitities including working with Stanley Park, Windsor Great-Park in England, trekking in Bhutan, and operating a landscape design/ installation business with his wife Angela. Andrea Lawseth is the Owner and Principal of AEL Agroecological Consulting. With over 12 years of experience in sustainable agriculture and environmental education, she has worked in the non-profit, public and private sectors as an Executive Director, project manager, event planner and informal educator. From 2007 to 2010 Andrea worked as the Agricultural Stewardship Coordinator for the e Langley Environmental Partners Society (LEPS) where she delivered manure and pasture management workshops for small-lot farmers and, in 2008, wrote the Land Management Guide for Horse Owners and Small-Lot Farmers. Andrea obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Agroecology, with a specialization in Animal Science, from the University of British Columbia and continued her education at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in Aas, Norway where she earned a Master of Science degree in Agroecology. Andrea is also a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) with the BC Institute of Agrologists.

Flora Wood works as a crop consultant for farms around Victoria, BC. She has a degree in Agricultural Sciences from the University of British Columbia. Flora has worked with many types of animal farm operations and has a passion for composting and local food production. She is offering manure management consultation services and hopes to link composted horse manure with local fruit and vegetable growers.
